Nitpicking, but I don't like the cover. The title is a line from the Predator. Could have used a still from the movie and warped the faces like the Griselda projects used to do.

That’s a good description. I was trying to figure out why I think they’re lacking and this is a part of it. Now that you mention it, most of Big Ghost’s beats sound like he’s trying to piggyback off a style more than just being his own producer and bringing the artists into his world. I think that’s a huge factor.

The ironic part is my favorite project he’s produced is the first one he ever did. I’ve listened to 6 or 7 since then and didn’t like any as much as Griselda Ghost.

Almost makes me suspect on who really produced that. Fendi Seats for example seems out of his league. The use of the sample was pretty straight forward, but a great find nonetheless and executed very well. On these two projects with Conway there's nothing that comes close.

9th is very underrated. He’s one of the best choppers of all time. Dude is extremely underrated when it comes to chopping entirely different parts of a song and putting them together without losing the groove.

Gave this a few spins. A couple joints are tough but overall a throwaway. If GDMM ain’t a classic I’m just resigned to the fact Conway can’t put together a real standout album. He’s had great mixtapes through the years but never really dropped a complete album in my humble opinion

you got that right. these BGL projects are not necessarily wack but mad forgettable especially with everything else thats out there. Da Cloth is putting out heat on a regular basis btw.
