I just mean front to back just straight up knocking it’s his #1 easily.
This isn't an overall consensus at all, and there's a lot of cats that don't agree with you. Doesn't mean you're wrong. It's all opinion.

You're allowed to have that opinion obviously, but it's not some objective fact that Reject 2 is his best work. Definitely not among general hip-hop heads, and not even among all of the hardcore Griselda fans either.

You throw shade at Conway every chance you get @Heavy_Handz and I don't get it.

I never said it’s consensus. I was just bumping Reject 2 & it’s my #1 Conway album. Not throwing shade. I still love that joint more than anything else he has dropped. Hitler Wears Hermès 7 is WSG best album & TT3 Benny’s :manny:

It seemed like there was a strong implication in your comment that he peaked in 2015 and hasn't made anything better since, and I get that this perfectly leaves the door open for you to say "you said that not me :sas2:" You're definitely slick with it.

And most of the reason I'm even asking this is because A: most of the compliments you give to Con and his work are backhanded compliments and B: you've admitted to me and @Ty-Fife and @Xtz23 and @LJLYDK! that you say shyt like this about him to get a rise out of us.

I don’t think he peaked as an MC. No way. I just enjoy that album more than anything else he has dropped & yes that is disappointing to me personally & probably why it seems like I’m overly critical of his albums! :hubie:

That’s fair.

From Monday to now this thread has been about this album and then this post from you down below flew in out of left field. Like, you can’t be shocked if this is perceived as a backhanded compliment when it’s just one sentence about how this project from 2015 is still his best work, and the previous comments are that he’s not living up to his potential and that you don’t want to hear anymore solo projects from him.

that’s the only reason I said anything
Reject 2 is still Conway’s best tape.

Fair enough. I was literally listening to Reject 2 when I made the post.

FKTG hit 126 on Billboard top 200. GDMM hit 175. Either way, I'm sure it's not what they were hoping for, but I'm also not surprised.

Source: Conway The Machine

Kind of goes back to the point of this not feeling like a major label release in any way. Did not feel like it had a larger budget or scope than previous releases, didn't have any tracks that were going to reach a larger audience. Still a good album

Damn that may be like 1k sold
I mean all of them together on WWCD didn't even sell 10k the first week. I don't imagine GDMM will sell very much, but no one really cares anymore. Albums are just promotional vehicles for merch, touring, and other revenue streams.

Sales in 2022 is super irrelevant except only the highest tier household name artists
