How did he hear beanie on lock load and be like :manny:
Song just came on :mjlol::mjcry:
A couple reasons.

Beans is a huge inspiration to him. A lot of the songs on this album are influenced by songs that Beans made on his first 3 albums. Also they are kindred spirits. Both of them have had to learn how to speak and rap again after gunshot wounds that almost killed them. Conway had to learn to rap again with half his face paralyzed, and Beans had to learn how to rap again with only one lung.

Conway has mad love for Beans and they've actually been working on a ton of music together. They might drop a little EP, and Conway has even offered to help sign Beans with an open offer to sign to Drumwork if Beans ever wants it.

I don't have a problem with the Beanie verse, the problem is they didn't make room for it. His voice simply can't sit on top of beats anymore. You gotta mix him different because there's literally no treble or bass in his voice anymore. Strip down the beat with some reverb or something...but you can't do what they tried to do. It sounds horrible but that's not Beanie.

In terms of the album...I fukk it, a lot. The problems (from the Beanie mix to some of the hooks) aren't enough to drown out some great rap shyt. Lots of personal, DARK shyt here. Not just the super gangsta lyrics, although they're certainly here too. Beats knock, you can tell things were replayed due to sample issues yet it doesn't sound empty. I've been hating on Beat Butcha for quite some time but I can't deny the shyt hits on here. Stressed for instance...
:whew:

And we gonna talk about Jill Scott dropping bars?
:blessed:

The singles feel like the weakest part of the album. I like just about everything else. And even Piano Love sounds better in the context of the album. I just wish there was more to the beat...pretty lazy for Alch to me. But man, that Alchemist outro, the title track? Immaculate track, beat, rapping, everything. Great ending.

I’m glad to hear he has put the alcohol down and is in therapy. He is such a skilled MC I feel that he has been affected heavily by his substance abuse. You’re right, he did open up some more
In some of the verses on this album. I just feel that he speaks on him getting shot and having Bell’s palsy so much that it gets redundant. I’m really looking forward to seeing what he’s got in store in the future because this album was recorded long enough ago I feel that he can move forward with the content now.

I don’t want to keep hearing verses about him getting shot in the head and having Bells Palsy over and over again. That’s all I’m saying :hubie:

Do you want him to keep it real, or make up some bullshyt? He's a hustler that wanted to rap, got shot, then he figured out how to overcome it and rap professionally.
