I'm still bugged out because I don't even think we're disagreeing. I'm not saying tea in China is better, I'm just saying I can listen to it more often and get more enjoyment from it. I always separate what is best from what I enjoy the most.I can dig it, most people are going to forget descendants of cain because it came out early. But I think beat and lyric wise nothing is touching that. Agree to disagree
I think Ka likely made the best album this year. But on my AOTY list it's in the top 3-5 and not the #1, because I've got that pesky producer ear, and at my age I listen to music more for personal enjoyment than breaking every bar down down. When I listen to Ka it's gotta be headphones on and I'm paying attention to every syllable. With some of my other AOTY choices I can listen in headphones, in the car, cleaning the house, with a few friends, etc.
You've got a Mach-Hommy avatar (Hard Lemonade is incredible BTW), so I'm sure you favor Ka and Mach's style of brilliant writing. I love it too, but I just can't listen to it all the time like I can with some other artists. That's all I'm saying.

he says other rappers be clout chasing, hoping folks mention them in posts, ok cool
then goes on to throw out names of folks that's popular to speak on him. is that not what he was getting at these other rappers for doing?
i guess it weaves into the whole movement getting copied part of that verse
