France responsible for Rwanda genocide. Those rebels in Congo are from Rwanda.

Not just France - the US also played a big role in causing the Rwanda genocide hence Rwanda became a US client-state under Kagame like the c00n-factory called: Kenya.

The US under Madeleine Albright as Secretary of State & Bill Clinton as president (with the support of UK, France & Germany) blocked the deployment of UN peacekeepers on the eve of the genocide. Thus, allowing the genocide to happen. So, I’m pretty sure they knew what was brewing & were complicit in it - hence they tried not to stop it cos it ended up benefiting their interests in Congo.

Let me post some sources:

Stephen Lewis, Canada's former ambassador to the United Nations, delivered a blistering attack on U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright over the Rwanda genocide.

A 318-page report by the Organization of African Unity released Friday criticized the role of the Catholic Church, the United Nations Security Council, as well as the United States and France for allowing the atrocities in Rwanda to continue when they knew what was happening.

But speaking at a news conference, Lewis singled out Albright, saying, "I don't know how Madeleine Albright lives with it."

We are commemorating the genocide because of the decisions with catastrophic consequences that U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Madeleine Albright, President Bill Clinton, and Members of Congress made not to act to prevent and stop the genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 when they had the power and resources to do so and the knowledge of its imminence and its unfolding terror.

Albright apologizes for Rwanda massacres

Embarking on a tour of Africa, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright apologized Tuesday to the continent's leaders for the world's failure to stop the genocide in Rwanda and promised a stronger U.S. commitment to Africa.

Discussions on this website about the problem will not help those in need right now over there. If you have disposable income and really care about helping to alleviate the problems, here are some charities helping the people right now in DR Congo:

  • Oxfam: an international humanitarian organization that works to fight poverty and injustice around the world.
  • Save the Children: works with communities throughout the Republic of Congo to provide quality health care services to children in need.
  • International Rescue Committee (IRC)
  • Action Against Hunger
  • CARE
  • Doctors Without Borders
  • SowHope
I presently give $200 monthly to Doctors Without Borders. I am going to give a significant lump sum to IRC for this crisis. After that, besides thinking it is all a damn shame, I will go back to dealing with issues closer to home.

Because there black

News barely mentioned when rebels went into Uganda and killed 40 kids

Yup, I see all these black people on my social media with this Free Palestine talk but nothing when it comes to black people.

The Haitian community had demonstration downtown a few months ago... No Arabs, No Whites, No Chinese no other black people, just Haitian.

When the Congolese community did the same thing a few years back, again... The same thing.

What's happening in Palestine is terrible but I don't like the attitudes people have when it comes to us. You can't even call it out, for obvious reasons.

I don't be really watching these type of videos, but one of the top comments said "the world didn't wanna ease off sugar when slavery was happening...."

you know damn well no one's gonna come off their electronics knowing what's happening on Congo.

I'm hearing a few people talk about what's happening in Congo... But it doesn't feel genuine tbh.

The vast majority of African countries are so lost... The west as usual fueling internal conflicts, destabilizing its economy while stealing its natural resources at the expense and sacrifices of the locals.

Always kept at the bottom of the barrel, always exploited, a cycle that seems to have no end in the Motherland :francis:
