Let’s be real this game was gonna fail regardless of its art style, character design, or racist cacs. Could a better art style and stronger character design help. Yes but only so much especially for a hero shooter. In 2024 that literally no one was asking for.

marvel rivals and a korean giant robot game literally don't have these problems

concord and its publishers saw multiple milestones with CLEAR question marks about the games reception and ignored them all

I think they'll try a F2P re-launch first before calling it quits. Firewalk will likely be shuttered too after this. This is Jim Ryan's legacy. He almost destroyed Sony's studios with the dumb live-service initiative, leading to hundreds losing their jobs, but at least he got his golden parachute.
