That’s definitely a clickbait headline. The biggest problem is that the younger (mainstream) stars they do have don’t truly have the juice like that and were pushed too fast without actually being developed. I’ll give props to Glorilla and Sexyy Redd just cause they actually do have bangers and hits, thought the latter is a completely terrible performer. Ice Spice was never supposed to be in the position she was in in the first place. People finally became honest about her music and have turned away in droves. Meg has hits and high visibility, but she turns 30 soon so I’m not really counting her. Also notice I haven’t listened a single male star or burgeoning star
Travis Scott is 33, Uzi is 29, Doja Dat is 28 but people don’t REALLY put her in the rap category. Who are the next wave of real stars and not just TikTok stars, Destroy Lonely and Lil Tecca

This year the women have been doing great, I agree.
I think Monaleo is the best female rapper under 30. She popular now but in a year or two I think she'll be up there with Latto.

I’m reading the article… seems to me that the show had a decent balance of young and old.. I didn’t watch the show. Folk barely appreciate their states now anyway so it’s hard to keep up with who’s hot or not,
