If you bothered with the 4th season and didn't like it, you have to know that it was a shytshow because the creator/showrunner got fired. He was brought back for season 5, and while it wasn't as good as the first two seasons, it picked up momentum towards the end and felt almost like home again.
NBC could cite ratings as the excuse for dropping it, but going up against Big Bang Theory for 5 years straight was never going to work. On the bright side for me, I can go back to ignoring network TV in general again.

It didn't have that studio audience
Canadian Netflix has up to season 4. No Hulu up here.
It's worth it once the show starts rolling man, I tried to get my boy on it, he watched the first episode and was like "meh"

Season 3 is definitely worth watching, 4 is when Harmon left and they had different showrunners. Weakest season of the show, but they rebounded nicely with season 5 when Harmon was hired back.
It's one of, if not the best show nbc has. Ain't been feeling their Thursday sitcoms much lately. The show has changed a lot this season. Not same without pierce and troy.
