But I'd put T'Challa & Pym above Banner. McCoy, Sinister gets omitted from most lists and Amadeus Cho - I'm clueless as to what he actually does. Valerie is/isn't she a mutant? And Pete who can also sit in the room with them.

What Doom did in the original Secret Wars is above the entire Reed Richards existence to date..so I'm not sure where is this mindset that he's above Doom. Doom created a working time machine...
Sinister is extremely intelligent..he's above Apocalypse to me because he got away with $hit in 20 years of time without really paying a price for any of it. The Avengers, the way he OWNS Cable

Ive always wondered this too. i know he's a mutant who invents shyt subconciously or in his sleep lol. but he does make some wild shyt but how smart is he?

People rank Stark above T'Challa, but the writing hasn't really reflected that. They're pretty much have been depicted on equal footing(like Cap when it comes to physicality) for the most part. Though T'Challa has outwitted Stark on occasion, compromised his tech, and it's even been said that he is capable of creating Iron Man equivalent armor if he wanted to.
T'Challa definitely belongs in this conversation. He's been Reed's right hand man for the last year or so and he helped create those world destroying bombs in NA and the life rafts that were used in the current Secret Wars arc.

Forge's mutant power is in a weird space where theoretically he could create any machine or technological device but I don't think he could create something like a World Destroyer
But he'd understand how it works based on being able to read how it deals with energy
