It's hard to judge Banner and Stark since they're super geniuses in their own fields but hard to tell how they do outside of them. Reed is definitely #1 with Doom being #2.

My bet would be on Tony being 3rd. Reed admits that Tony is the guy to go to, when there are multiple problems that need solving, during "Time Runs Out", iirc. Stark had built the craziest shyt to deal with every other alien race gunning for Earth, while Reed and Co were doing whatever.

Mr. Sinister is ahead of the curve too...Doom has an army of robots well if Sinister wanted, he could have an army of Madelyne Pryors, Marauders, and Nate Greys.

@OP, this question isn't complete without adding Hank Pym. He's a genius as well. Closer to Reed's level of smarts.

But I'd have to go with Reed on this one. Too many instances where Doom has resented him for that fact. He and Pym may have alot more to talk about between the five of them.

Reed is the smartest guy in the Marvel universe and that has been consistently displayed for the most part, no matter who is writing him.

The rest tend to vary between writers.

once he became bigger than that and is essentially someone who the xmen and avengers have to deal with it too, i'd argue he may be the smartest. didnt he recently conquer the entire universe just for kicks?
