This Han Solo film is gonna start the slow decline for the Star Wars franchise, I think. Hopefully it's good and will do well if it is, but right now I'll be waiting for Redbox on that one. The first Star Wars movie to come out in theaters that I wasn't excited for (yeah, I was excited for the prequels even though they sucked).

Maybe the Avengers flicks will be remembered on that level. The solo flicks besides the Iron Man series and Black Panther though are not on that level.

The entire MCU will be remembered on that level, there is no way around it.

Bruh you ever looked at Antman or Incredible Hulk's box office numbers? Even the first Thor and first Cap ain't really do shyt.

On the other hand, Avengers 1 made 500 million more than Thor 1. If they came out of the gate with hits I'd agree with you but those pre-Avengers 1 numbers are looking funny in the light.

Does Avengers 1 even make sense narratively if you haven't seen the first Cap or Thor movies? I don't think so.
It's an entire package and will spoken about in that manner going forward.

That's only for the Avengers movies. Cap movie makes sense without Iron Man, without BP, without Iron Man, without Dr Strange...

People forgot about shyt like ultron before the summer was even over. I'm tempted to even say the same about the second Guardians

People will just finally remember their favorite five or six

Everyone's favorite 5 or 6 are different and will cover the majority of movies or their favorite 5 or 6 rely on plot points from other movies. It's just the nature of the MCU.
