I agree most people are into Comic book movies now, that's an easy one to call, but Vader is a classic character.

But I understand since the last great one was Revenge of the Sith, that was 2005...it's obviously not 2005 anymore.

I'm waiting on the Infinity jent myself, along with everybody else on Earth.

Personally I believe Marvel could take on Star Wars and DC at the same time to be honest. Like thats how deep the roster is.

Star Wars will have to grow up and create new characters who aren't related to Vader I will give you that.

While I agree that the MCU is this generations star wars rumours of star wars demise are greatly exaggerated. It seems fans bytch and moan online and in reviews but will still see it multiple times anyway I am guessing just to make sure the its truly shyt? I mean rogue one gets talked about as boring and that still made a billion. TLJ gets criticized for shyting on the franchise again a billion. Until solo pulls a JL lets just chill on the talk SW is done. Their fans seem to be wolves in sheep clothing

Personally, I was so disappointed with TFA I haven't even seen TLJ.
But I did like Rogue One. But really my hype for the franchise is at an all time low. Exact opposite for the MCU, I'm marking my calendar/counting the days for IW.

people have said superhero films are the modern musical and the modern western

but comics can be what ever you want

comic book characters are malleable Logan Deadpool and black panther are all comic book films but they all feel different

and DC films for its up and downs is not slowing down the train
