I did it brehs,
I fuxed around and wrote Adam Sandler's feelgood family movie for the holiday season 2015.
Adam Sandler is a down on his luck single dad auto-mechanic whose wife (Drew Barrymore) left him to marry a doctor. In order to win her back, he starts volunteering at a homeless shelter across the street from her job, ladling out meals every weekend. Originally, he looks down on those he is helping and only focuses on winning back his wife, but halfway through the second act, the shelter becomes his second home and eventually his wife learns of his good-heart and comes back to him after he wins a drag race against the rich doctor using a beat up car that he and the homeless guys fixed together.
Movie's called "Souped Up"
Homeless people cameos by David Spade, Rob Schneider, Kevin James, and Chris Rock as the wise old black homeless guy with a gray beard who gives Sandler the speech that teaches him how the homeless are people too, also tosses him the keys before the big race with a knowing wink.

After his arch nemesis (Played by Rob Schneider) challenges him to a match at WrestleMania he decides to get back in the ring. With help getting back into shape from his black coach (Played by Chris Rock) he drives cross country to make it in time for the match.

From the creators of Ivy League Steve & Kick the Bucket: Dan Boris (Adam Sandler) tries to rekindle a flame with his ex-high school sweetheart 12 years after they broke up. While picking up Sarah (obviously played by Drew Barrymore) for their date, he becomes suspicious that he may be the father of her 12 year old son that answered the door before the date. During the date he gets drunk and embarrasses Sarah to the point where she remembers why their relationship didn't work in the first place. Too drunk to drive home, the owner of the restaurant (Shaq) notices and blocks him at the door and eventually takes his keys. On his way home Dan stumbles upon a wishing well in an abandoned park. He reaches in his pocket to get a coin to make a wish. Of course he tries to wish that it was 12 years ago to patch things up with Sarah, but somehow in his drunkedness he accidently wishes to be 12 years old. As you completely predicted, 12 year old Dan aka Atom Childish, now spends 12 days befriending Sarah's child in an attempt to make up for lost time with his son.
