naw, fred.
i just wasn't seeing the greatness that ya'll saw.
it was another cop show to me.
i wasn't nearly as entertained as i was watching the shield, and now oz.
i think if it wasn't hyped SO fukking much i'd take it a lil differently.
but damn, goat show ever :scusthov: no fukking way.

:wtf:

Did you just watch the first season or something?

Fred.

i mean that was the main premise.
then there's the politics, the papers, and all that.
in general, i found myself less engaged watching this show than i anticipated.
not saying it's wack or anything, but you guys built it up to be some monumental thing i was gonna witness that fell flat.

I feel the same. It was a good show but people recommending to me where talking like it was the second coming or some sh!t.

Fair enough. :yeshrug:

You seen "Breaking Bad", "Sopranos", "Boardwalk Empire" or "Homeland"?

Fred.

so hard to choose between sopranos and the wire. i've ran through both series more times than i probably should have.

as far as replayability, i say both have it. when you rewatch sopranos, you see how much of a comedy that show really was. i mean these guys are fukking hilarious out there.

the wire is funny too, butusually in a different way.

i gotta give the nod to the wire, cause the sopranos had those dream sequences when tony got shot. it was dope to see how everyone reacted to him getting shot, but i hated that dream he was stuck in

When you talk GOAT it depends I could relate to The Wire a lot more than The Sopranos. I've never known any mobsters, but shyt I felt like I knew almost every character on The Wire cause I have and do know people like that as far as the corner boys go. If you grew up in the hood you've met Bodie, Dukie, Namond etc. It was more than a cop show IMO.
