We could count "sheeeeeeeeeiiiiitttt" as a catchphrase. I say that shyt at least once a week, too.
And The Wire is the GOAT because even though it had such a large cast, pretty much every character had enough development that they could potentially be the main character in their own series. Especially with all the little/unstated shyt (Cheese being Randy's father, or the old homicide chief being a closeted homosexual).

The Wire was all right but to me the best show is The Sopranos but I've already told y'all that like a million times.
The Wire was cool but it didn't catch my attention as much. I mean it was good but some episodes dragged along a little.
The best season was the 4th, that one was piff. The 2nd one at the docks was pretty good too. I liked every season except the 5th one with the newspapers and all that.
I'm thinking of rewatching the whole thing. I might cop the boxset for cheap this Xmas and watch it all over again.

they did not kill off all the good characters. that's not true. and even the characters that got killed off or put in jail, they replaced them with new characters which were just as good. and catch phrases.....
only one I know is the clay davis "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTT" thing.
Only beef I have with the wire is that they never broadcast it in HD. especially the later seasons.

its impossible to rank them its just going to be different for everyone
but I think that they are the top 3 goat shows by far
