Think everyone who disagrees with you is a liberal, brehs. Also I love when liberals use the word vague Over 90% of their positions center on vague, subjective terms like "fair", "right", "livable", "just", or "equality".

For the rich it is the best. For 99% of us it isn'tnone of their healthcare is touching the one in the USA.
Most world leaders come to the USA for medical treatment....ask yourself why.

In liberal utopia he would have died waiting in the ERDespite all this fukking hoopla over this bill, this man likely walked into an ED with a problem and had his problem addressed that evening and is now doing fine. In a liberal utopia, the hospital should simply give it to this person "free" because "its the right thing to do". Unfortunately reality has a funny way of fukking up liberal fantasy.
Why don't you fukkers petition hollywood to pay for it? It seems they are the only people who you guys don't mind if they are making millions of dollars off the backs of poor people.
I do tooThink everyone who disagrees with you is a liberal, brehs.
NOPE.Your average 20 yr old ain't affording this in one payment, But at least the INS 'covered' 80 percent or so, but goddamn that's a lot of money to pay.
Given my exp dealing with hospitals, you can pay that off in low monthly payments over time.
He should be paying a lot less though. This is the kind of shyt the mandate doesn't fix, the best coverage you can get only covers 90 %, which would've left dude with 6 grand or so to pay off. Never mind the monthly premium.
about 9 years ago i was between jobs and got in a car accident, ended up with two broken ribs and a broken tailbone. 80k in bills. Settled all that shyt myself for 8k cash. Hospitals bump up prices when they know insurance will cover. When they know a person is paying out of pocket they tend to take what they can get.Yall would have fainted if I showed yall my appendicitis bill from earlier this year. My appendix actually ruptured and when all was said and done, the bill turned out to be around 110K. Insurance sure saved my ass on that because I sure as in hell wasn't even going to try and pay that if thats what I had to pay in full.
What do you think they will do when they know Govt. will cover?about 9 years ago i was between jobs and got in a car accident, ended up with two broken ribs and a broken tailbone. 80k in bills. Depends. What do you think they will do when they know Govt. will cover?
With much of the worlds research and development done here in the states, do you think its fair to compare(side by side) our system to those of other nations that benefit from Americas r&d at zero cost?Depends.
If the goverment doesn't do anything to check some of those costs, i.e. They send a bill for a $50 box of kleenex teh government better deny that claim. IF THEY DON'T...
Well prices will stay as they are right now.
The gov needs to check pricing, they can do that via laws and such. I don't know what WILL happen i know what's happening right now isn't working and prices will continue to balloon.
Keep in mind the argument from the medical industry as to why medicine is expensive has been because of the failed rates at hospitals and to cover research costs. Removing 50% of the extreme cost of doing business should have an effect. If it does not we can all finally agree that hospitals no longer adhere to the Hippocratic oath and are vile, necessary, evils.
We have patents to protect rights and such. I wouldn't be averse to extending some of the 50 years patents to 80 years to help companies better recoup some of those costs. With much of the worlds research and development done here in the states, do you think its fair to compare(side by side) our system to those of other nations that benefit from Americas r&d at zero cost?
I don't believe the service to be "the same", but I agree medical cost here in the states are absurd. With so much of the R&D going on here in America do you think it's right for American citizens to pay MORE vs other countries...for the same service?
I agree to a degree. In fact it's my main response when people bring up that tired ass argument in regards to immigration...."well Mexico has even worse policies than we do they should feel lucky..."I don't believe the service to be "the same", but I agree medical cost here in the states are absurd.
Moreover I dont believe we should use other countries as a metric for much of anything concerning our nation
