but does he have insurance?

if so he's not paying that and neither is the insurance company

if not, I'd like to welcome all republicans and libertarians against the healthcare mandate to explain:
1) how he's supposed to pay for this
2) why the rest of society should pay for this if it was a procedure done through the ER

Total cost was 50+ grand. His insurance pays 40k he owes 11,000 $ which is a lot for a 20yr old

Your average 20 yr old ain't affording this in one payment, But at least the INS 'covered' 80 percent or so, but goddamn that's a lot of money to pay.
Given my exp dealing with hospitals, you can pay that off in low monthly payments over time.

He should be paying a lot less though. This is the kind of shyt the mandate doesn't fix, the best coverage you can get only covers 90 %, which would've left dude with 6 grand or so to pay off. Never mind the monthly premium.

Yall would have fainted if I showed yall my appendicitis bill from earlier this year. My appendix actually ruptured and when all was said and done, the bill turned out to be around 110K. Insurance sure saved my ass on that because I sure as in hell wasn't even going to try and pay that if thats what I had to pay in full.

We shouldn't this a prime example why less government is needed :troll:
The sooner we get rid of useless programs like the FDA the sooner the market responds with cheaper more efficient healthcare. :troll:
