That first video reminds me of when I went to a bad middle school in LA. There was a culture of chaos and no one taking it seriously. The teachers could seemingly do nothing about it. Hell, even I started acting bad. I've gone to 3 different middle schools, and at 2 of them, the teachers didn't allow bad behavior. If you allow people to wild out without consequences, that's what a lot of them are going to do.

“Dude is wearing a bright blue shirt on a combat mission. These guys are supposed to be getting to the point of being able to do this without Americans being here. It makes me wonder if I wasn’t here, would this guy be really going up into the mountains with a bright blue shirt” :dead:

Smoking hash right in front of them :dead:

@neotheflyingone After taking more time to think about it, I’m glad I went to Afghanistan instead of Iraq. Yes it’s relatively flat, but the complexity of all the dangers must have been maddening.

Plus they did their thing in the middle of a civil war, while fighting AQI/IS/etc. with no real support at home aside from loving family and fat ass cac’s “supporting the troops” with country songs and little ass lawn flags that were made in China.

In Afghanistan they may fukk you up for a second but they always lose the fight in the end. They can’t even really run away like that. Iraq they can hit you and disappear into a crowd of civilians or housing complexes. There’s endless ways to die in Iraq.

I would have thought it was the other way around due to the terrain of Afghanistan (what I've been researching about it). The mountains and hard to maneuver terrain.

Afghanistan is slightly smaller than Texas....basically it's Texas but with the population size of California....but with a ton of mountains and mostly civilians.

Air strikes seem almost useless.

I remember when Bush Jr said "smoke em out", in regards to bombing mountains in Afghanistan to bring the Taliban out of their caves.. :pachaha:Spent billions of dollars on cluster bombs for what?

And this is what needs to be said by the Biden on national TV. Like what the actual fukk do all these people bytching about the situation on the ground expect to happen when we left? These people were literally waiting for Americans to leave, so they could go back to herding their goats and getting their sons married.

I wonder where this was at. Their conscripts were the worst I’ve ever seen lol. They were semi-capable and willing where I was at. Ours had heart, at least. They just wanted to get kills, smoke, and show off. And live chickens randomly appear wherever they were living on our bases lol.

Afghanistan has a young population - many of whom don't remember when the Taliban were last in charge prior to 2001. Also a lot of young people - including young women - have jobs that might come into conflict with the Taliban's strict interpretation of Sharia. How will life change for them now that the Taliban are back?
