This means we get discovery. I can't wait to see what grimy shyt discovery turns up on the NFL.

There's already been discovery and depositions. Now we go to trial.

The fact the judge didn't dismiss the case at the summary judgment means Colin and his lawyers have found some dirt that makes proving collusion at trial possible.

The grimy shyt has already been discovered breh.

But I thought that now we get to hear what was found at discovery because it's going to trial. Or am I wrong? Not a legal expert by any means, so if I'm wrong, please let me know (you or anyone else).

The summary judgement phase in law is basically the trial before the trial. All the discovery is over. All the arguments are finalized and presented. The only difference is that its done strictly on paper rather than in person arguments. And the judge is not deciding who wins the case but rather if Colin and his lawyers have presented enough evidence of collusion to potentially win at trial.

This stage is there to stop cases which have no chance of winning at trial to go any further because there is not sufficient evidence to support them.

In this case, the judge said Colin and his lawyers have presented enough evidence on paper to potentially win at trial. That is HUGE.
