Nah, he’s right.

Mfers in here are constantly on some shyt, always trying to push their narrative regardless. And, very little have anything tangible to offer other than criticism of other people’s actions.

You being dishonest by shifting it to him saying he doesn’t want to learn. The fact is most people here want to shyt on others, especially when it comes to political parties.

Even the article you offered doesn’t change shyt and isn’t some big reveal, just more mindless musings by people who aren’t in charge of anything but their opinions.

Some of yall just aren’t being realistic, just idealistic fools. Constantly on some smoking gun shyt…

Now what exactly can we do with this? You basically just described the internet.

I would argue painting narratives and shifting conscienceness is a powerful tool. Manipulation is how change is made in this country. Move the mind and the body can follow. My goal is to keep bodies from moving off the couch if Kamala and the Dems have nothing to offer black people but fear. If they do have something? Great,we can run to the polls in November.

Do you think no black person should be held accountable for doing crimes?

Do you think a black person should be allowed to be used as a tool for white supremacy and not be held accountable? Obviously Kamala didnt literally handle all these cases. But she certainly seemed indifferent to the moves people were making on her watch. In fact, they probably felt comfortable making these moves because a black woman would be the figurehead.

Its nothing personal,Kamala represents a spirit. A spirit of black women being used by the European to enforce his will. Excorcisms are not for the weak hearted:respect:

Yall goofies were doing all that over 45 cases :dahell:

During her tenure as district attorney in San Francisco, over 1,900 individuals were convicted for cannabis offenses. Nevertheless, some reports indicate that the majority of those apprehended for minor possession did not face incarceration. Only a few individuals were imprisoned for cannabis-related crimes under Harris’ administration.

According to The Mercury News, Harris oversaw approximately 1,900 marijuana convictions as DA of San Francisco. She prosecuted more people than her predecessor, Terrence Hallinan, who was considered more liberal. Data compiled by the California Attorney General’s office found that under Harris, 24% of marijuana arrests led to convictions, while under Hallinan, only 18% of arrests led to convictions. But, under Harris, only 45 people went to state prison based on a marijuana conviction. Under Hallinan’s leadership, 135 people went to state prison for a marijuana conviction. Others went to county prison or were given other options for their crime. Paul Henderson, the leader of Harris’s narcotics team in the District Attorney’s office for several years, told The Mercury News, “our policy was that no one with a marijuana conviction for mere possession could do any [jail time] at all.” Instead, people with possession would typically be referred to drug treatment programs rather than prison. Henderson also said that marijuana sales charges often were pleaded down.

While Harris appears to be behind to push to decriminalize the drug now, it is a complete reversal of the position she took when she was California attorney general from 2011 to 2016.

During her time in the role, nearly 2,000 people went to jail for marijuana related crimes, but many of those cases were prosecuted by independently elected county district attorneys.

As state attorney general she also refused to join other states' efforts in removing marijuana from the DEA's list of dangerous controlled substances.

While working as a prosecutor in San Francisco, she oversaw 2,000 convictions, with 45 people serving jail time.
So the “lie” was allowed to be passed around UNTIL she says she’s running for president? Now, after 4 years of this lie being out in the open, people can pop out of nowhere showing the “truth”? Pretty convenient that this lie was ignored till campaign time

Odd wording and sentence structuring by the writer. Could be reading too much into it, but better to go about defending somebody’s record in a simple way, than convoluted way….makes you (the writer) come off less trustworthy and more schemey.

I don't think OP is trying to say 45 people is not a big deal. I think OP is trying to highlight the fact that people who used that "fact" to shiit on her were focused on the numbers. And now that the numbers are not what y'all thought, people are trying to act like it was never about the numbers.

Everybody in here saying, "1 is too much." was not saying that before. Y'all were focused on the "thousands" she sent to prison. It wasn't about her being cruel as a person, it was mainly that she did it to so many people. That was the focus.

But now that it shows that only 2% served jail time, y'all are moving the goal post. Her predecessor sent 3 times as many to prison.

I'm not the biggest fan of hers, but stop being emotional.

He may not have articulated it well, but his point is still correct. She actually was putting all types of programs in place trying not to lock people up. Her record as a prosecutor was very misrepresented. I also saw an interview of a defense attorney reinforcing that she actually did a lot of things trying to help people.
