It's a body weight exercise so after a certain point the excess mass becomes a liability.
Gymnasts (compact with ridiculous upper body strength) probably have the ideal physique for it.

20 pull ups with good form is impressive imo. I do 3x15 once or twice a week and my form is :flabbynsick: by the last set
I'm thinking of using an entire gym session to do pull-ups now. Maybe after I drop like 10lbs :jbhmm:

If that was you you won in this thread . Pull ups on rings are harder than bars. Anything that's unstable like rings you're gonna get a better work out compared to something that's stable. You can do all sorts of work outs on rings

50 is very hard even if you're in shape. Especially if you are heavy or have long arms. I know i can't do 50 straight but I'm sure I could hit 25 on a good day
