last year was all about iso ball. also kept playing david lee when it was obvious he was the weakest link on defense.
this year a lot more emphasis on ball movement. david lee thrown in the bushes for a defender who is much better (understatement, really) and is a very dynamic and versatile player. iggy comes off the bench. barnes starts and isnt asked to iso. no iso plays for bogut as well. livingston was a huge pickup

Those David Lee postups:mjlol:

The Warriors get so many easy buckets. I remember Mark Jackson was salty in Game 2 vs. HOU after the Warriors got a backdoor lay-up off an inbounds. "That's not great playcalling, that's just bad defense. They ran that same play earlier." :stopitslime::umad:

They get gimme lay-ups/dunks every game. That's coaching.

A lot less iso. Better lineups (ie, no David Lee). Another year of progression for the young players.

More intangible factors: Jackson's coaching style is a lot more adversarial (pitting guys against one another as motivation), better assistant coaches, less infighting within the organization

This is true. The biggest difference is how they use Draymond, Bogut and Thompson. That is the major difference. Mark got more out of Lee and Iggy but less out of Thompson and Barnes. Green was progressing last year so I can't say Mark wouldn't have started him this year.
They use Curry way differently too, and this is all coaching by Kerr. People are delusional if they think Mark would've gotten them to this point.

The 718
Mark Jackson would run some basic ass offensive sets and isos and was too much of an egomaniac to hire competent offensive assistant. Steve Kerr has a great staff around him and runs great sets that maximize the Warriors' talent.

Mark Jackson and his hockey substitutions were awful :mjlol:

Edit: Also Gentry and Adams have been huge additions to the coaching staff. Blatt was actually going to be their top offensive assistant coach before he signed with Cleveland. Would the Dubs offense be as good with Blatt instead of Gentry?
