Watched it for the 1st time ever. I'm not a fan of war movies in general so it was never really on my must watch list, but this isn't even a war movie.
1st of all this is one of the most well shot, visually appealing movies Ive ever seen. Some of these shots were
The helicopter over the water scene was
The rotation of the lighting to go from dark to light/light to dark
This was a beautifully shot movie.
2ndly this movie isnt about Vietnam it's Vietnam. It gets crazier and more complicated as it goes on just like the war itself. I wasn't expecting that.
3rdly by the way the movie starts I thought Martin sheen was gonna be the crazy one, he's the most sane, erreybody in this bytch crazy af
This cast of characters is nuts. Duvall came through with a dope ass performance
my nikka more concerned with surfing than the war
The only down part about this movie is some of the dialogue is hard to hear because of the sound of the choppers and other background sounds. And some parts moved a little slow.
Overall real dope movie. Might have to watch this fukkery again one day
What that woman been up to? Last time I've seen her in anything was in HBO's The Night Of.
all that could've been avoided if people were just a lil bit more decent
