Now I'm not one of those Coli posters who believes in the "Agenda" conspiracy, but them shoehorning the "A'Leila being lesbian" side-plot was shameless. Now, if A'Leila was lesbian in real life, I would have had no problem with it. But IRL A'Leila was married several times and there's no proof she was ever a lesbian.

Naw, it's just a side plot. That side plot doesn't start until ep 2 and they never spend too much time on it. It's just unnecessary when the real-life A'leila wasn't gay.
