Just finished first season of “A Thousand Blows” on Hulu. Great show. Really like that no time wasting side stories.

Watched on Paramount+. I remember the hype for the film when it dropped in theaters, kinda forgot about it until it hit streaming and have to say it lived up to the high praise for me. I wasn't spoiled on anything going in, which I am glad of. I first saw Willa Fitzgerald on the USA series Dare Me and she gives a hell of a performance here.

Movie Breakdown: A Real Pain - Side One Track One Movie Breakdown: A Real Pain - Side One Track One

Saw this shyt on the plane. I was like "thats it?" How the fukk did Kieran get nominated and win if anything Jesse should have gotten the nomination.

Jeremy Strong was robbed. WTF

I could see why it is getting attention and why no one will criticize it. Has a rating of 96%. :mjpls:

Watched the Subtance last night.

Good concept, great visuals and nice atmosphere. The scene where Demi Moor is cooking and she starts losing it is great.

They shoulda trimmed off like 30 mins from the movie, though.

Hackman is a career underachieving Seargeant station in west Berlin in the 1980s (so he's my father but that's a conversation for another day). When an assignment goes left, he gets to mouth yapping with his superiors (Like father, like son I guess), and they hold a grudge like a broke dude in a bar holds a warm beer. the next assignment he gets goes left too, and they only thing that can save his life and career is the few friends he met along the way. while the movie is espionage action, it ratchets up the action, scene after scene, basically leaving it up to you to figure out what the espionage is. Too many films spend too much time trying to explain stuff you don't care about (Brave New World)

8/10

I came across this television series by mistake and binge watched three seasons (30 episodes) in 4 days.

Definitely worth checking out if you're into horror, sci-fi mixed with supernatural elements. Or if you were an original fan of the TV show Lost.

You can get a 7 day free trial of MGM+ through the Amazon Prime Video app as well. I highly recommend this show.
