I'm still not sure how I feel about this movie. Visually very nice, nice soundtrack, but something felt off about the acting and the pace of the movie. And some choices in the scenario. Still enjoyed it though, but felt like it had much more potential.

It was too long which hurt the tension that you were suppose to be feeling as a viewer

True. I understand wanting to make it visually pleasing and spend time on the two characters and nice sceneries but that doesnt work well with keeping that tension up.

Second time watching this and the horse bit seems very far off from the rest of the movie. Sometimes when directors try and be absurd and surreal there's a risk is just ends up looking weird, which happens in this. Armie Hammer felt like a miscast.

Call me crazy but I still prefer the chinese connection not that this one isn't dope I mean fights break out every couple of minutes and yuen woo ping brings his A game with the choreography, but it still ain't as cool as bruce lee kicking ass and going "WAAA!"
