Despite, my limited background and exposure, these movies have sparked a desire to get into essays and review. There's such an amazing cinematography and acting across all three. However, I am glad I watched these movies after the hype surrounding their release dates. Scores above are from my initial impressions -- probably need 2nd or 3rd watches to pick on hidden themes or motifs.

what am i missing?
Omg - pure opioids fukkery and dysfunction; a drug dealing doctor, hurricane Katrina, corruption, New Orleans PD being bodyguards for drug dealing doctor, the pain treatment center “health clinic” operating like a 24/7 Walmart supercenter, drug addiction, drug overdoses, murder and mayhem; and at the center of it all is the town pharmacist. And the most shocking multiple plot twists that I’ve seen in a documentary in a while. Also add witness tampering and intimidation to the mix.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this movie. Visually very nice, nice soundtrack, but something felt off about the acting and the pace of the movie. And some choices in the scenario. Still enjoyed it though, but felt like it had much more potential.
