This was pretty wild with a star-studded cast but you can definitely tell Tarantino wrote this. When he turns Christian Slater into a mouthpiece to talk about Elvis and Sonny Chiba, ONCE AGAIN his freakish obessession with blacks, and the shoot out....all the Tarantino-isms are there. Man just can't get out of his own way.

Absolute classic though. To this day I believe this is one of Tarantino's best screenplays.

This movie came out in 93 bruh. Only reservoir dogs did we first see what QT was all about which was just a year prior. True Romance was a flop but obviously became popular on video. A lot of people initially did not see true romance many after pulp fiction made him a household name.

And Tony Scott was a perfect fit for that TR script.

Trial & Error. It’s has a similar feel and comedic style as Angie Tribeca, in that there are a bunch of punchlines that come at you very quickly. The jokes can be a bit corny, but they do connect more often than not. If you like Angie Tribeca, you will like this

I actually started with this tonight but I got a bad rip that went out of sync with some visual glitches so I stopped halfway and watched Inland Empire while I downloaded a better rip.

Some funny moments there's hardly anything here. 2 hours of a bad drug trip in Las Vegas...doesn't even sound bad but this was paper thin.

I think it tried to say something in regards to the 60s but that came and went like a high.

Decent flick. The plot can get muddy at certain points and the trope of top 40s 80s pop blasting every two minutes got annoying. But the cinematography is good and the action sequences are right up there with wick. Plus who can’t say no to lesbian sex between Theron and Bluetella?

This movie had potential to be soooooo much better

It’s a beautiful film with dope action scenes but it was missing something.
