I might have to give the GOAT cinematographer title to Stanley Kubrick though...this was another visual masterpiece. The natural lighting made the movie look so much better...damn near every scene looks like a painting :whoo:

But he's...not the cinematographer.....::patrice::

John Alcott was the actual cinematographer. He worked with Kubrick on all of his later films

Well, give it up for Mr. Alcott. The movie was gorgeous.

this really sabotaged my mind man..this documentary/investigation was beyond words at that time.
Agreed, I randomly came across it on HBO.

I was about to watch that Robin Williams Doc, but instead wanted to watch this first.

I was jumping back and forth on whether they did it or not.

Plus the Metallica music :whew:

Yea, I just finished the 3rd one a few minutes ago.

That was a twisted fukked up story.

That one victim’s father (John) wasn’t really helping his case by acting crazy, setting made up graves on fire and changing his Denture story 3 different times :mjlol:

Blade Runner 2049 was pretty great and I’d say it is a superior film to the original. Easily some of the best cinematography I’ve ever seen on film. This movie is probably the closest to capturing the overal tone and vibe of Anime in a Hollywood film.

It's both better and actually makes the original better in retrospect
