Yeah I heard about that when I read about him because of "Ali: Fear Eats the Soul" (Awesome movie btw). Baal was alright, but you can tell it was his first flick due to the fact it was kinda rough.
I love Ali. Beautiful and down right truthful in every scene

:mjcry:......:wow:
This is that stuff:wow:
This movie really hit hard with expressing the true feelings of those on the Titanic, vs the 1997 flick which felt like a cliched love story with people dying btw:camby:. Sure the accuracy of the flick was kinda off (nobody was aware at the time of how the ship split in half), but man.....:to:. Wow....

Watched all the evil dead movies including the one from this decade.

I enjoyed the first one and the second one was ight I guess. Third one was there. But why did the series basically transition into a comedy?
I don't think I have ever seen a movie trilogy/series do a 180 like that before.

The reboot was a nice one. I say The og> reboot> 2nd> 3rd.

I looked through reddit responses and there was nothing but praise. I guess it might be because they saw it in theaters at the time so they were just caught in the moment because I thought there was some bad writing in this movie. The brother was a fukking idiot. I loved the end though.

Also.... every time they summarized the previous dead. Ash always had a new girl and they would always change what actually happened up :deadmanny:

The Little Hours

Shorts 90 minute comedy set in medieval times staring Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Kate Micucci, John C. Reilly, and Dave Franco among others. Stupid in a good way.

Near the end of the film, I was thinking that where was no Elisabeth Vogler and that Alma was wrestling with her split persona and that the beach house was really a hospital room after dealing with the horror of her pedophilic actions...but apparently this is all real. I'll admit I looked up some info after watching because the film just ends with nothing really resolved. And those scenes in the beginning and in the middle couldn't be more pointless. Highly pretentious.

I loved me some Sunset Boulevard when I got to see it. I still remember the shock when I finally realized that this was the movie Carol Burnett was spoofing during her "Nora Desmond " skit on her TV show.

Looking at the end of that flick reminded me of this part of Mrs Doubtfire:mjlol::

Yall in here talking about Takeshi Miike.

But anyway.. last movie I watched was Isle of Dogs. Cute flick. Keep meaning to watch Wes's other flicks. Only other one I saw was The Royal Tenenbaums back when it came out.
Iike Wes Anderson movies but fell asleep on Isle of Dogs. There was something missing.
My favorite by him is Fantastic Mr Fox.
