Batman: Year One

Finally saw it. Loved the animation and voice acting. The story felt rushed, though. The ending felt the same as The Dark Knight Returns: Part 1 , like it has a part 2--which it doesn't. I need to read the source material, too.

Here so many good things, but, it was just a shoot 'em up with a decent story. They over did the I-got-you-dead-to-rights-but-let-me-give-a-speech-first story device once two many times. Probably the most violent movie I've seen in a while--that was mostly due to the slow-mo making it more graphic.
