Finally caught two films I didn't see last year: Goodnight Mommy and The Visit

Goodnight Mommy
I thought this film was gonna be mindfukk status........ nope. No jumpscares, but not tense or gripping either. Real letdown, after hearing all the hype around it.

The Visit
I liked it. The atmosphere was creepy, it did what it was supposed to. Dat ending could have been done in many other ways imo.

It was OK...if tom hardy spitting and shouting and flailing his dikk around is your thing

Really though british films really are not my thing. Even the ones revered on IMDB and RT. But this was fascinatingly weird.

You know that is exactly my thing, but regardless of that it's also a brilliant piece of filmmaking. It's like the deranged love child of Fight Club and A Clockwork Orange, how could a person not like it?

Entourage the Movie- Watched all 8 seasons of the show and wanted to complete the journey with the movie. A lot of lifestyle porn, but it was good to see the characters again and Drama's closing line was great. Haley Joel Osment really has gotten fat

The Final Girls- really good flick, creative, and surprisingly touching in spots. Maybe from Arrested Development still looking really young in this
