the story wasn't epic..kinda reminded me of an 1800s forrest gump :heh: but i enjoyed it

i'm 2.5 hours into the directors cut of Das Boot as I type

it's good, but not hitchock's best. i give it an 8/10. this is one of those classics that i had heard about but somehow managed to go a long time never seeing before. i never heard anyone discuss the gay overtones, it's definitely there.

I'm a Hitchcock stan....I've seen Psycho numerous times.

I'm surprised you slept on Halloween if you love Psycho, Psycho was a huge influence on Halloween.

What about The Shining or Eraserhead?

Honestly don't have a lot of desire to watch Eraserhead lol

Still my favorite film of 2014, well directed, well acted. Quicksilver and Fassbender :lawd: Hugh Jackman is still incredible as wovlerine imo, I also felt like it were possible for them to fail which gave the movie much needed suspense, in most of the superhero movies i watch i always feel like the hero is going to win no matter what, but the sentinels were formidable and they were literally down to the last room that they were hiding in. I just bought it on amazon prime with a giftcard.

Ive only seen mulholland drive but all the other lynch films been on deck for a while. Elephant man is in the challenge and eraserheads on hulu
