Why is Fancy from Jamie Foxx in here? Bokeem was a great choice though. Underrated actor.

I don't know how Kitano managed to pull off bringing yakuza sensibilities to the US but he did it

Midori (1992)

i saw the animated one. there is a live action one that looks stupid. this movie makes berserk look hopeful. i am scarred for life. it's a little orphan girl in what may be 1920s japan who ends up getting tricked into joining a freak show. it starts horrifying and ends depressingly. the mangaka who created this should probably be in an institution, but i must admit his artwork for the manga covers is really good and the story does succeed at what it set out to do.
