Not bad. Was annoyed at how immature Peter was compared to the Tobey Maguire version but I'm eager to watch Far From Home.

Why :dahell: is Fancy from Jamie Foxx in here? Bokeem was a great choice though. Underrated actor.
Laura Harrier :hula: Zendaya

It was today that I noticed that what’s happening had a spin off. What’s happening now.

If you told me Omar Epps and a guy named Takeshi Kitano would have chemistry in a film a few years back, I would've looked at you crazy.

I don't know how Kitano managed to pull off bringing yakuza sensibilities to the US but he did it :wow:

I recommend Hana-Bi, Zatoichi, Kikijiru and a scene at the sea.

Been years since I've seen it and it's v well done. Phantasm's smoke going unexplained throughout the film is my only gripe.

Midori (1992)

i saw the animated one. there is a live action one that looks stupid. this movie makes berserk look hopeful. i am scarred for life. it's a little orphan girl in what may be 1920s japan who ends up getting tricked into joining a freak show. it starts horrifying and ends depressingly. the mangaka who created this should probably be in an institution, but i must admit his artwork for the manga covers is really good and the story does succeed at what it set out to do.
