Essential Coli-members what's the last thing you watched?

Before Coda came out this was the film of the year for me. I'm really enjoyed the world that they created around this movie. Third act goes to a place where you and I wouldn't go, but I tolerated because it continued the world. The film ends on the right note, without giving any real answers to the couple's problems. It just closed on the world.

My only grips are minor, like there are theme restaurants in places, besides Los Angeles and Jena Malone's face doesn't look great in HD. the film ages on multiple viewing so view it once and put it in the vault. 4.5/5

movie of the year so far. It's an Appletv+ exclusive and it's better than all the HBO max movies.

The only grip I have is that the side plot with the boyfriend runs long and has nothing to do with the plot. And yes the singing isn't great but they make it clear from the jump this ain't a hipster movie.

Snake Eyes was NOT IT!

There was supposed to a flood at the end of the movie that got taken out. I don't know that would have made the movie better or not. Once you realize what the conspiracy is about it falls off the cliff.

I honestly don't know. Time is moving really funny these days. But, for what it's worth, I vote that we do one this year.

Now I remember lol. We normally do it closer to Oscar time. Just to coincide and give everyone a chance to see legitimately everything they can.

Lol I just came back from watching it. Some deep stuff indeed, but I felt it was too long and drawn out and would've like them to have a more "serious" tone given all the ramificatiosn with human history/religion/etc. Dope special effects though, gets the job done
