I always like Amado so I was glad he got the lead in this one. Showed some range in this season. The cop side story was a bore despite where it was leading. The narrator was bad, should've been Scoot. If this is the end, it was a fun run.

I binged the White Lotus. I liked it. It was difficult for me to get into at first, but then I got invested in the characters. I also binged Euphoria around the same time. Its an okay show. Very aesthetic, and I like the music. I don't really care about any of the characters though. I don't know if I'll watch the second season. There's only so much you can do with the whole, "we're all young, and fukked up on drugs" trope before it gets cliche and boring. We'll see though.

Loved it. One thing I like about Anderson's films are the rewatch ability of them all. There's so much on the screen visually, in the forefront and background, that you have to go back and watch it again.

Homeboy did get no play, but yet.

Once she was "forced" to have the kid, she couldn't even give dude "jobs". Nice get out of jail free card for the actress. I'm sure it was all the producers idea.


But other than that great movie.

Decent movie, even if Sandra Bullock is miscast as an "older sister"

Not perfect but anybody hating on this is trying too hard

Watched this the other day, enjoyed it way more than I thought I would tbh. There's just something that works for me in the overall tone of the movie.
