New York is straight, but it's no D.C. for me

i love D.C.. it's my second home.... my sister, nephew and my niece all hometown....

once my nephew got accepted at st johns my sister moved up to new york and man , i just don't know it's something there i don't like

If you were stuck in Brooklyn or Queens for some reason for the rest of your life, you would literally have everything you'd need and never go bored. You got music, food and girls from every culture in the world there, beaches, parks, baseball stadium etc... both boros have good mix of urban and suburban living. both are tied for the GOAT boro IMO

The public transit here is the best in the country, bar none
But if you don't have a car, you're really not making the most out of the city
You can't spend 5 hours in 3 boroughs comfortably using the mta

I'm from Chicago but lived in the Upper West Side for four years. Have deep family ties in Queens - St. Albans, Hollis, Jamaica Estates.

Although I love Chicago, I prefer New York City. You can beat the energy, diversity, and convenience. And it's still the number one city that attracts the best and the brightest.
