You can but I would suggest getting something that cheaper to maintain like a honda or acura. I'm actually going to look at a 3 series today that is listed for $2k. Only doing this so I won't have to keep daily driving my M3. If you do get a bmw make sure to get a PPI done before you buy it.

i don't purchase vehicles new, nor do i purchase them > 1.5 years old, nor do i lease. not sure if you're trying to advise me that the M5 is expensive?
