You're right. The entire Dem leadership is in their 70's. fukking Nadler actually dozed off at the post-Mueller press conference. It looks like this investigation is killing him. A young guy like Paul Ryan could never rise to Speaker in this party.@dtownreppin214
The Dem party eats it's young.
If you're the type of cynical, charismatic cac that can "sell" to Middle America you can either wait your turn with the Dems or get pushed fresh out of the gate by Turning Point USA.
To the extent that the Dem party has charismatic voices, they have had to fight tooth and nail for relevance while the establishment tells them to shut up. And generally they had to self fund their first campaign win.

Word!?House Dems are roughly a dozen votes shy of a majority vote on impeachment.
House Dems are roughly a dozen votes shy of a majority vote on impeachment.
In order to accomplish that goal he has to not get re-elected in 2020. You're not going to vote him out by passing symbolic bills in the House to be sh*t on in the Senate, allowing him to subvert subpoenas and the legal process when he feels like or making half hearted condemnations at press conferences. They're going to have to mobilize the vote and there is no better way to do that right now other than allowing the many crimes and improprieties to be force fed down the American peoples throats through a very ugly and public inquiry.I'm honestly not enthused. Can Democrats make a coherent case for impeachment? Is he gonna get voted out or not?
Again, I'd like to have him impeached. None of the previous 44 Presidents would have been able to get away with what Trump has gotten away and not be impeached. For the sake of the Presidency and most importantly the country, Trump needs to be impeached.
But I'm with Pelosi at this point. Vote Trump out of office and let the legal system deal with him when he's out.
