If it was just her she would have long since been pressured into impeachment. There are plenty others who agree with her but have the liberty of not having to publicly say so. Her being speaker she doesn't have a choice, she has to be the face of the "wait and see" movement.

There are 235 D's in the House and only 80 or so on record of supporting impeachment, they don't have the votes.
From what I understand this doesn't change anything because Congressman Richard Neal (D) won't request the state records and is instead focused on trying to get the federal ones.
