Like I said I hope Dems go forward with it, but I don’t believe firing Comey to impede investigation into a crime that never happened or can’t be proven is enough to unseat a President.
From the tone of establishment Dems they aren’t really keen on impeachment either. There just isn’t enough.
Nixon was guilty and it could be proven... not sure if it’s understood that there wasn’t enough evidence to support charges against Trump...

On its face "impeaching a president for obstructing an investigation into a crime that didn't happen" sounds ridiculous but that's completely ignoring context.
Republicans/his supporters are gonna try to push that narrative to avoid having to hold Trump accountable but if these p*ssy Dems ride along with it they are just as complicit.

No I understand what you're saying and I likely didn't make myself clear. What I said is what should/needs to happen, what you've stated is the reality we live in. As for the bolded, the way the media handles the two parties plays a huge factor in how politics is handled. Rethugs are trash but because of the "fair coverage" networks are so desperate to provide, Dems get branded weak for not keeping their foot on Trumps neck, whereas the GOP is let off for enabling criminals. Add in Fox News/other far-right media sources and it presents a scenario where the average American is either misinformed or completely tuned out of politicsI understand what you're saying breh. Your heart is in the right place, but....
1) Trump's base is 63 million strong
2) You really believe Dems want to target moderates who support Trump. See: Manchin supporting Collins in her re-election bid; Third Way; New Democrats
The Dems with common sense who can smell blood are considered "far-left". That's what your own party members label you when you fight against right-wing orthodoxy.
Notice the onus is not on Republicans to disavow Trump, but for Dems to pull Republicans toward the correct course of action. There's a moderate Republican caucus. It's called the Tuesday group. How many of their members have been interviewed about the Mueller Report in the past 24 hours? Where's the outrage against them for not calling for impeachment?
With that said Dems need to be actively inspiring as much hope as possible. Its all hands on deck for 2020 and counting on America to do the right thing is a risky strategy
