Obama's failings aside, this is outrageous, and just entirely childish, which we have come to expect from this administration and the parties official messaging. They have done NOTHING to push back and contributed at every and any opportunity to whatever failings took place under the Obama admin, and doubled down on them, from not discussing it to denying their own intelligence agencies. Absurd op ed, total party line nonsense.

He was not obstructing anything? What makes you believe that?

This and the Nixon case share so many similarities, Infact the only easily discernible difference is that he didn’t actually take the step to fire the special counsel, but it’s readily apparent that he viewed it as as a threat and wanted to do so

Jesus man. If he did it for the purpose of impeding the INVESTIGATION, WHICH HE ACTUALLY ADMITTED TO LESTER ****!!
Then yes.

:hubie:Like I said I hope Dems go forward with it, but I don’t believe firing Comey to impede investigation into a crime that never happened or can’t be proven is enough to unseat a President.

From the tone of establishment Dems they aren’t really keen on impeachment either. There just isn’t enough.

Nixon was guilty and it could be proven... not sure if it’s understood that there wasn’t enough evidence to support charges against Trump...
Why do you think it mirrors Nixon?

You are identified as a suspect in a murder investigation.

You did not commit the murder.

You impede the investigation by hiding/destroying evidence, bribing investigators, and threatening law enforcement, in hopes of ending the investigation prematurely.

The murder victim turns up alive.

It is discovered that you often wondered aloud how to kill the former victim.
...You still committed a crime. :gucci:

But a Dem candidate can target a "moderate" for living and dying by Trump. Box them in that far right corner where Trump and his base like to exist. Dems overall I lack faith in, but individual Dems with common sense who can smell blood, thats what the party needs
I understand what you're saying breh. Your heart is in the right place, but....
1) Trump's base is 63 million strong
2) You really believe Dems want to target moderates who support Trump. See: Manchin supporting Collins in her re-election bid; Third Way; New Democrats

The Dems with common sense who can smell blood are considered "far-left". That's what your own party members label you when you fight against right-wing orthodoxy.

Notice the onus is not on Republicans to disavow Trump, but for Dems to pull Republicans toward the correct course of action. There's a moderate Republican caucus. It's called the Tuesday group. How many of their members have been interviewed about the Mueller Report in the past 24 hours? Where's the outrage against them for not calling for impeachment?:jbhmm:

Trump - Spearheads the "Birther" Movement, designed to delegitimize Barrack Obama as an African American man and as a US Citizen :patrice:

Obama - Is criticized for every single thing he does while in office, right down to the color of his suits, and how he salutes his employees:francis:

HL - Blames him for not moving in a manner that would have been easily spun to portray any action he takes as "political revenge" and as being in the tank for Hildog, who the American people even before he election, were clearly not sold on :ohhh:

Wait we’re blaming Obama for the Trump administration and RNC being filled with traitors and the whole Republican party working to cover it up?

Nice.

Also Obama was forced to go at Russia off the bat and even tried to reset relations several times. Ya know while we’re revisiting history...

Sounds like the new narrative is that this would never have happened if Obama nipped this in the bud. Bullshyt and cac deflection.

Homie you’re fukking insane. Even if nothing happened then why was he pulling out all the stops to halt any investigations into the election or Russia’s meddling?

Like I said, I don’t believe it’s enough to unseat a President and no indictment will keep his base and senate support in tact.
I think the desire to have trump gone is pushing this further than it really has the legs to go:yeshrug:
... and again many people on the hill who want trump gone are not certain it’s the move. That should tell you it’s not as black and white as its being colored on the Coli.

Even “wait for the report" pelosi is deferring questions on impeachment :pachaha:
