The DOJ falls under the Executive Branch. The Special Council falls under the auspices of the DOJ.

An Independent Investigation can’t be done because Ken Starr went off on tangents.

mueller was supposed to be the one to settle it...they said he was the best at this stuff...mueller failed...did you see this ending coming?...mueller not making a decision on obstruction then barr and rosenstein (trump/repub loyalist)stepping in at end and clearing trump is not what i expected would happen...but im not shocked that it did...i always knew it was possible trump would get cleared...i even thought it was possible nothing would happen to trump even if mueller said he did it...

Maybe Mueller didn’t find irrefutable evidence like a tape or recording. It’s not like Trump straight told Bannon or someone who would flip “ i gotta fire Comey to help Putin”.


I think Barr just showed up too late to control the information narrative. The world isn’t like in the 80s Iran-Contra were only a few powers could control the narrative.

People have made valid criticisms about this whole situation, mainly, that the public has not seen this "report" and that it's kinda silly that a man who was picked by Trump is the one who will interpret said report, that the American public, has not seen, unredacted and unaltered.

And yet here you are...now its..."lets be honest" and that "Barr is full of shyt" and that even if he is, why would he be so careless as to try and hotshot this investigation to an inappropriate end?

It's either or breh...you can't say he's full of shyt but then say it would be foolish for him to mislead the American public in this way

without reading all that, my position is that this report is not what the indian in the cupboard hyped it up as for two years

do i think barr downplayed it overall? yeah, it's not gonna be a clean slate. is there anything that will get trump outta office? no, i dont think so
