Throughout this saga there was a back and forth. Looked like Trump was fukked, then Trump would get a win then before you knew another bombshell. Another arrest and raid. Then Trump and co. would get would get a win rinse repeat.

Now it looks like he won the most important battle.

Not sure there will be another huge break for dems anytime soon. But we are talking about Trump here. Something could drop by weeks end.

Not sure if the energy will ever be the same though.

This. 18 months between now and the 2020 election is enough time for Trump to dig his own grave several times over. Also enough time for this to pass where it won't be a large cloud hanging over the primary.

And the government gonna shut down again in early 2020. That and no border wall and other fukkery Trump does during the time of a failing economy gonna eat him alive. With many states abandoning the electoral college and Trump not converting a single Dem or non voter to vote for him.

While I rarely put on any type of tinfoil hat, I do believe that there is something larger afoot and the AG did was he was supposed to do. I'm not holding my breath on anything, but to summarize 2+ years in four pages and start with not having read the whole thing seems a bit crazy to me.

Trump just strikes me as bold/stupid enough to say fukk it, only look out for himself, family and a select few around him and everything else be damned. It's snake oil sales on another level with politics and globalism.

I think the main point being Trump wasnt getting got on this investigation no matter what was found.
It was a long shot that Trump could be indicted from this investigation. That was established many moons ago by most legal experts. Mueller follows DOJ guidelines to the T. Nothing has changed since then.

@Frank Grimes is right. GOP presidents always get away with criminality.

Nixon conspired with South Vietnam to sabotage LBJ peace talks during 1968 election.

Reagan conspired with Iran to hold the hostages during 1980 election.

Bill Barr under GHWBush squelched the investigation of Iran Contra and then you had all the pardons.

GW lied us into Iraq war in 2003 and some of those same liars are in the current administration.

he not guilty of obstruction because the investigation he obstructed didnt find him guilty?...:dwillhuh:...does that work for everybody or just trump and people like him?...
Barr's view of executive privilege is that hes the head law enforcement officer. As a result anything he does is a part of his duty as the head of the executive branch. He then concludes he's only acting outside of his constitutional duties if he is attempting to coverup his own criminal behavior. Even thrn hr believes only the voters/impeachment can sct upon that.

@FAH1223 has posted a lot of informstion about Barr, but essentially he views the president as above the law. :yeshrug:
