I like Punk, but he will never be satisfied. Also ratings wise it seems he doesn't move the needle much for them since AEW lock TNA pretty much have their core fans locked down, but are struggling to capture growth in ratings.
Because for some dumb reason TK makes the most interesting stuff of the show segment 1 and 2Not much but it looks like he does move the needle for them a little going off the break down of the ratings of the last show. The weird thing is its the rest of the show after hes done that they dont tune in for.
That's the Big Bang Theory crowd, the ratings always dropoff during the first 10mins of the show. It's like when the WWE put Becky in the opening segment knowing those get the highest ratings and called her a draw, but whenever she was put in the middle of the show her segments lost viewers. The real embarrassing issue was the gigantic dropoff when Omega was in the main event. Not much but it looks like he does move the needle for them a little going off the break down of the ratings of the last show. That's not a pattern though, that's 1 week. IIRC there's been a number of 20+ minute matches in AEW were the audience doesn't drop much or even gains viewers.Except the audience went back up when Moxley came out and challenged Punk and the match for next week was announced. Looking at the pattern it seems the audience drops off during long matches but comes back for segments

I'm assuming you mean the 2nd time? Because the drop off was happening during the opening segment.Except the audience went back up when Moxley came out and challenged Punk and the match for next week was announced. If there's one thing Tony needs to understand is that themes don't mean titles for your shows. He needs to realize that themes also mean the show builds towards something. The entire night should've led to the Punk/Moxley confrontation, instead it opens the show and continues in a weird spot. The ratings would stay more consistent if the audience feels like they have to follow every segment for the final setup. They only show them quarter by quarter but from it looked like the audience dropped during most of the Danielson-Garcia match but pick bck up in the end and mox/punk annoucment and jericho and went back down again during the mid card stuff with the women
I posted it in the aew thread
