You do have a point. He might be a practitioner himself and be highly knowledgeable on the subject. I'm no expert, and I'll admit that. But I really doubt he's going to come in and fight smoothly and calmly like he's done it before. A few months of training will NOT prepare you enough for UFC level fighters, or even following their movements. What do you know about his knowledge on mma? You act like your some mma expert due to being a fan or something lets not act like punk doesn't also follow mma
I been everywhere you can go online and I don't know why everyone is upset. If he gets his ass kicked so be it, if he happens to win so be it. Him as well as the UFC are gonna make a lot of money because people will pay to see it. It's a win-win for both parties.
You mean he doesn't now or that he hasn't for years?Vince gonna look like a complete idiot once Brock jumps back over too
Except its real so no one can walk in and they're automatically main eventing and winning.@ Phil now being the part-timer that the locker room hates
As someone who has been a fan of mma for over a decade, i'll tell all of you to not believe anything positive that someone in his camp/training partners will say. When someone brings hype to the ufc there is always guys who make up to further make the hype seem legit.seeing is believing....
Guys were hyping james toney talking about he was a good grappler and was making people tap in camp
Couture insists that he understands the threat Toney brings into the cage, but at the same time he doesn't believe everything he hears coming out of the Toney camp. For instance, when asked if he'd heard that Toney supposedly tapped out Strikeforce light heavyweight champ "King" Mo Lawal with a choke, a sly grin spreads across the ex-champion's face.
"Nah, I don't believe that," Couture chuckled. "He's probably doing some wrestling with Mo Lawal. That wouldn't surprise me. I know he's not training with Dean Lister. Dean called me himself when that one broke and said, 'I'm not training with that guy. Don't believe that stuff.' But it doesn't matter. All the talk is just talk. No matter who he can get to say he's tapped them out in training, on the day he's still going to walk down to the cage and get in there with me and that's when all that stuff stops."
