Punk is proof that you can be successful outside the wrestling bubble. Letting Vince and Co. dictate your ability to have a successful career will be the end of your career for the majority of the "superstars".
I'm hoping the balls that Punk has shown himself to have in standing up to Vince & HHH and the drive he has to do bigger and better things than WWE will inspire a lot of the locker room to do the same. Whether the McMahons like it or not, that company desperately needs more people who are going to call them out on their bullshyt and fight for better angles and a better spot on the card.

I'd kinda like a few of the better wrestlers who've been smart with their money to break away and start a rival promotion.

I don't see that ever happening in the U.S. Too much red tape. Seems to happen all the time in Japan though.

Kind of fukked up how Punk had ulterior motive the whole time. He was simply mad WWE had nothing for him after the 400 day reign and made him lose to three part timers. Oh well. There are guys like Ryder, Sin Cara, Truth, etc. that WWE hasn't had anything for in years.

I'll support him and hopefully he doesn't get too fukked up in the octagon but I have a bad feeling. Phil isn't exactly built like a typical fighter. If he fights at 185 he'll have to cut more weight and he's already skinny-fat as it is.
