A few weeks ago, we all remember someone came on here and discussed a poor experience they had with CM Punk. I am here to give the opposite. While I was waiting for the person I was picking up my tickets from in the lobby of Mandalay Bay, CM Punk comes walking up, with AJ and a security team member. I decided that I would either have an amazing story positively with Punk, or negatively, and it was worth a shot.
As he is crossing past me, I say "Hey Mr Punk, loved the podcast!" and put my hand up for a high five. He smiled, said "Thanks buddy" and returned the high five and kept walking. I then walked beside him for a moment and said "Mr Punk, I may never get a chance to meet you again, would you mind taking a quick picture with me, I'd really appreciate it." He gave the slightest bit of hesitation before saying, "sure, just walk with me and take it as we're moving." I snapped the picture, thanked him and told both he and AJ to enjoy the fights, at which point they both smiled and thanked me.
Bottom line, you treat someone with some respect and some manners, they will (most of the time) return said manners in kind. CM Punk is a good guy in my book, so if you see him, just be nice and don't be weird.
