Brawl Out Brooks left WWE off a huge payday and one of the biggest angles in recent memory for the E, to get married and not lose time with his wife, took on his personal interests in trying MMA and acting (regardless if he's good at them ), kept his name ringing out fans mouths pretty much the whole time, came back for another huge payday, got to become the world champ of that company within a year, played by his rules and morals while there, then got retired as the "real" world champ.

Everything he complained about in WWE, he got in AEW and he still found a way to screw it up. Complete career suicide. Burning bridges with the 2 biggest companies in industry.

I'm still trying to understand how this happened. I get Punk fighting another wrestler, but what motivated him to attack his own boss?

I'm just imagining a scenario where Punk's kicking Jungle Boy in the ribs while he's on the floor and Tony comes up to him wondering what the hell's going on.

"Punk, what are you doing?"

"I'm kicking this dude's ass, what do you think I'm doing?!"
