Whatever gets you motivated, I guess. but at the same time, even if staples was built for the kings and the lakers and clippers moved in on some roomate shyt... What has the cliippers contributed to that building, they have been living there rent free with no job while the Lakers and kings (when the NHL is not on strike) have paid all the bills and kept the place looking nice. But they are the ones wanting to cover banners ... like someone already said we had a disaster of a season last year and the clippers had one of their best and we both went home in the first round.... how about they actually win something before trying to claim their seat at the dinner table.

With four teams playing in Staples that quadruple revenue for AEG(the owners of Staples and LA Live). No 'ships but the Clipps draw really well even in the worst of seasons. They have a lease with AEG, nothing is free. Think about it, four teams playing under one roof as opposed to one team or no teams like most arenas deal with. Plus with concerts at Staples its a windfall of dough. Plus they built LA Live(bars, clubs, restaurants, Nokia theater, JW Marriot Hotel, etc) so all these restaurants and bars are full and pumping every single night damn near year round. Its beyond banners but of course they help. its business. When is the relatively new Sprint Center in KC gonna get a full time tenant???
